Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls

Join us on International Women’s Day for a panel discussion addressing the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. Learn about the issues from a panel of Indigenous women and the screening of a short film.

There will be a presentation on the situation of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls in Quebec, and the screening of the short video, “Sisters Come Home.” The event will conclude with a Q&A and an inter-generational panel discussion featuring Ellen Gabriel, Maïtée Labrecque-Saganash, Nina Segalowitz and moderator, Cassandra Steer.

In partnership with the Indigenous Law Association at McGill University, McGill Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism,Quebec Native Women Inc, and Women in International Security Canada.
