Quebec City, March 31, 2026 – Quebec Native Women (QNW) unveiled today its mapping project documenting Indigenous women, girls, and two-spirit individuals who have gone missing or been murdered (MMIWG2S+) in Quebec. This unprecedented overview, covering the period from 1950 to 2026, highlights the scale and persistence of violence against Indigenous women in the province.
